Contactum directum et frictionem inter pistonem vel virgam pistonis et corpus cylindri durante motu impedire potest, et munus agit in protegendo corpore cylindri a laesione pistonis vel virgae pistonis. 1. Formabilitas bona est, sed contractio et directio plerumque maiores sunt quam plasticae amino, et substantias volatiles aquae continent. Praecalefactio ante formationem fieri debet, et exhaustum per processum formationis emittere debet. Si non praecalefactum est, temperatura formae et pressio formationis augendae sunt.
